Hey, I'm Sudipta
I'm a |
Engineer at Intel, building SDKs and edge AI for Intel hardware, from a drone SDK to an offline translator that runs on the NPU. Before that: edge manageability and infrastructure blueprints at Intel, scalable backends at State Bank of India, and a food delivery startup in college. Full-time code wrangler, part-time philosopher.
01. About
I like designing things end to end: the high-level architecture, the low-level class design, and the automation that keeps it all alive in production.
Known to stare at bugs longer than most people stare at sunsets. I don't quit until the problem gives up first. Ask my laptop.
- Writing code that doesn't crash... eventually.
- Designing systems from scratch, then watching them evolve (and sometimes explode).
- Automating the boring stuff so I can break new things faster.
- Always learning, always building, sometimes both at once.
Edge AI & SDKs
SDKs and AI apps for Intel CPU, GPU and NPU, from drones to offline translation.
Edge & Cloud Infra
Edge nodes, Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, Terraform and CI/CD.
System Design
HLD and LLD: from whiteboard boxes to class diagrams.
AI Products
LLM apps with RAG (Mynna), plus Agent Skills and MCP.
02. Experience
Intel
CurrentSDKs & edge AI for Intel hardware
The drone SDK in the Federal & Aerospace AI Suite, and Local Lingua, an offline translation and sentiment app running on CPU, GPU and NPU.
Edge Node Infrastructure Blueprint
Provisioning edge nodes with GPU, NPU and SR-IOV acceleration for cloud-native workloads.
Edge Manageability Framework
Edge Orchestrator: onboarding edge nodes, provisioning their OS and creating clusters on them.
State Bank of India
Application DeveloperDeveloped scalable applications and handled backend systems.
Food delivery startup
College ventureStarted and ran an end-to-end food delivery service for students on campus, from ordering to the doorstep.
Bootstrapped projects
Throughout my careerTaking ideas from zero to one: Mynna (AI trip planner, @OxomiAi), nostalgia-bytes (C++ games, @sbrous-org), a POC-to-production workspace, and a CI-validated cookbook.

Things I've built at Intel that are out in the open. Edge AI, drones and the infrastructure underneath them.
Federal & Aerospace AI Suite
open-edge-platform/federal-and-aerospace-ai-suite
AI applications for aerospace and defence edge deployments. I worked on the drone SDK. The suite's UAV Vision Analytics app, for example, runs YOLO11 object detection on a drone's camera feed with live MAVLink telemetry (GPS, altitude, speed, heading) overlaid.
View on GitHub βLocal Lingua
edge-developer-kit-reference-scripts/samples/ai/local-lingua
Offline voice translation and sentiment analysis in 15+ languages. No cloud: speech-to-text, translation, text sentiment, voice-tone emotion and text-to-speech all run locally on Intel CPU, GPU and NPU.
View on GitHub βEdge Node Infrastructure Blueprint
open-edge-platform/edge-node-infrastructure-blueprint
Turns edge hardware into a cloud-native platform: builds bootable install media, provisions edge nodes, and enables GPU, NPU and SR-IOV acceleration for containerised AI and real-time workloads.
View on GitHub βEdge Manageability Framework
open-edge-platform/edge-manageability-framework
Edge Orchestrator, a platform for running fleets of edge devices: onboard an edge node, provision its OS, create Kubernetes clusters on it, and deploy apps across distributed edge sites from one place.

06. Problem Solver at Heart
Give me a bug, a puzzle or a system that "just doesn't scale", and I'm hooked. Tech or pure logic, the itch is the same: I want to know why, not just make the error go away.
Curious first
Root cause over quick patch.
Break it down
Big problems become small, testable steps.
Consistent
A little every day. Small commits compound.
Logic for fun
Algorithms and brain teasers are how I relax.
My problem-solving loop
- Understand
- Break it down
- Build
- Break it (on purpose)
- Fix
- Repeat
𧩠Logic Lab: Lights Out
Clicking a cell flips it and its four neighbours. Turn every light off. I solve these for fun; can you?

A year of showing up
Every dot is a day of my GitHub activity over the last year. Each ring is a weekday, from Sunday on the inside to Saturday on the outside. Brighter dots mean more contributions, and the amber hand marks today.
βFrom a certain point onward there is no longer any turning back. That is the point that must be reached.ββ Franz Kafka
07. Interactive Terminal
Poke around. Type help to get started.
08. Chaos Monkey
A tiny Kubernetes cluster that heals itself. Be the chaos monkey π: click pods to kill them, take a whole node down, or spike the traffic, then watch the controllers put it all back. How low can you push availability before Kubernetes heals it?
09. Bug Squash
Production is on fire. Squash the π bugs, but don't touch the β features. You have 30 seconds.
